Unconditional surrender and regime change yes, but don’t count on the parts of Europe that have been Islamified to support this. Trump is allowing Israel to do what it never could under the appeasement regime of Obama-Biden. Trump will continue to pose as the peacemaker (not a bad feint) but I strongly suspect he will continue to insure Israel dismantles the Islamic terrorist regime. After all, we are told endlessly that Trump is consumed with grudges against his enemies and he knows the Islamic Republic tried to kill him.

Hope you are right. I am wondering how much influence the Carlson wing has.

Yes. Unconditional Surrender is the only option to end this war. Anything less than regime change is unacceptable.

Good points, but all irrelevant.

There is nothing in the response of European governments to the Gaza war that indicates any capacity on their part for either political or ethical realism.

The countries most effected by the Houthi mischief in the Red Sea have not even bothered to send naval support. Europe will treat the present war against the Islamic Republic as gladiatoral entertainment supplemented by the opportunity to condemn Israel. The asymmetry between Iran's use of ballistic missiles on civilian targets and the Israeli focus on military targets within Iran is obvious, but will not be acknowledged. No critic of Israel cares about dead Israelis. None will change their mind over this. Complaining about this gets you nowhere.

Unconditional surrender is not going to happen. At best Israel can incentivize the Iranian Army to remove the ayatollahs.

In the meantime and regardless of all else, Israelis need to wake up to themselves. A moral, legal or political dialogue with the West over war is pointless. Fundamentally unserious people, let alone those who are both unserious and malicious, are impervious to argument.

Instead of pleading with the West for understanding, focus on demonstrating capacity and resolve for the benefit of the saner, capable, Muslim states (above all Azerbaijan and the Central Asians) and India. There, and only there, will you find people capable of assessing the situation with any degree of honesty or realism.

As for America, Trump is great but he is constrained by the legacy of decades of appeasement. America could have resolved its problems with Iran long ago, but chose not to do so.

Not a betting man but i would not bet on unconditional surrender. but it would be nice if people talked about winning wars instead if kicking the can down the road and saving evil regimes like Hamas and this Iranian regime
