You ask: "Regarding the anti-semitism, the only question is if it is the old style European aristocratic kind, of the new Jihadi kind?"

I think you answer this question more accurately a bit later, when you refer to the Davos types in Washington. For them -and the WEF apparatchiks of Europe- Israel, a stubbornly sovereign country steeped in history with a strong ethno-national identity- is a standing rebuke to their ideology and policies. Look to Ireland -as it commits suicide in real time- if you want to see their agenda in action.

Accurate analysis as usual. The only thing that will green light US support for Israel to destroy Iran’s nuclear threat if a Trump victory. Israel may well take ignoring Biden/Harris threats that one step further as you suggest; if that happens the current US Administration will likely be paralyzed by indecisiveness. “Oh my, we can’t lose the Islamic vote, but just maybe American Jews are waking up to our playing both sides against the middle with Israel. Maybe we should just sternly say DON’T, and draw an Obama Red Line in the sand, and go out for ice cream and some JOY”.

Obama's line must have been infra-red, as apparently no one could actually see it. ; )

"For Israel, it has proven to the Iranians that their air defenses are paper tigers"

Think they might try to harden them? (the air defenses)

It seems they have been destroyed. Russia’s S300’s are worthless. They might get the S400’s from them. Will the Russians risk being shown they are worthless, too?

Make better ones then? The Russians aren't stupid. Neither are the Iranians.

There's a risk in showing your enemy where he's weak while not destroying him. He can learn from seeing where he's weak which you've pointed out to him.

I'm playing devil's advocate. I hope you're right. I know that whipping up improved air defenses isn't like drawing a rabbit out of a hat - but it can be done.

Haven't understood the the four plus decade reluctance of the US & Israel to strike the Iranian heartland in response to their shedding of US military blood in Iraq & elsewhere & Jewish blood in Israel & Argentina. The IRGC's inability to respond to IAF pummeling of their personnel & allies in Syria during the "War Between the Wars" spoke volumes about their inadequate military capabilities.

Iran will refrain from any further military assault on Israel for the near future as they realize they've been hit hard in Round One, but will be pulverized in Rounds Two through Four should they be necessary.

Israel should seize this moment to threaten Iran with even more devastating military action unless they lean on Hamas & Hezbollah to disarm & agree to general Israeli terms for a ceasefire/hostage release. Even more importantly, Iran's nuclear program should be threatened with imminent destruction unless it is surrendered to US control for its demilitarization & limited utilization for non-military use.

Now is the opportunity to time to defang the Islamic Republic - an opportunity that may not come along again for many, many decades.
