US to Surrender to the Houthis?

From the India Times: Diplomatic win for Houthis, U.S considering to revoke terrorist organization of Yemeni group

It is now clear why  Biden-Blinken are desperate to leave Hamas in place in Gaza -  Iran now seems to control US policy in the middle east.

Both the India Times and Bloomberg are reporting that the US government, in seeking to find a “diplomatic” solution to the Houthi Red Sea terrorist and piracy is considering revoking the Houthi status as a “terrorist organization” in exchange for stopping drone and rocket attacks on international shipping.  One wonders if the US Navy will, in concert with the offer, officially announce that after nearly 250 years of service, freedom of the seas is no longer in its domain? 

Tiawan, Philippines, Japan and Australia, please take note.

Either Biden-Blinken is afraid of the Russian-Iranian-Chinese axis and are looking to do in Europe and the middle east what they did in Afghanistan or they are simply trying to ally themselves with this new axis and become a junior member.   While diplomatic solutions are often best when dealing with issues that develop between countries, what the US is proposing here is to recognize a terrorist group as its equal.   It is astounding that something like this would even be considered.

Here is just some of what is going on in the region that Biden-Blinken choose to ignore – or are frightened by:

-          Just last week naval vessels of the Russian Pacific fleet entered the Red Sea.

-          An Iranian spy ship has been helping the Houthis in their terrorist attacks yet has gone unharmed. 

-          In clear cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russians announced setting up a Russian Military Police base in the Syrian Golan, across from the Syrian-Israeli border.

-          Iran has tried pressuring Sudan to allow it a naval base in that country.  So far, Sudan has resisted.  However, the Sudanese military is negotiating arms agreements with Iran.

-          Iranian backed Hezbollah and Hamas are active in Nigeria.  According this report:

Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah (LH) have been active in Nigeria since at least 2010 to increase Iran’s economic and diplomatic clout in line with Iran’s broader “resistance” strategy to erode Western influence on the continent. Iran has also used covert networks in Nigeria and across Africa to create attack threats to Western personnel and interests on the continent as a form of horizontal escalation.

We can go on and on as we have over the last few months wondering how Biden-Blinken treat their allies like trash and their enemies like a basket of eggs.  It can’t be clearer now that Biden-Blinken is turning the US into a junior partner of the Iran-Russia-China axis – has that been the plan since Afghanistan or have they just bungled their way into it?
